A creamy salted caramel filling over a rich, chewy chocolate crust. Grain-free, gluten-free, nut-free, vegan.

NO-BAKE CHOCOLATE SALTED CARAMEL TAHINI BARS

Ingredients:

Chocolate Crust

  • 3/4 cup coconut flour

  • 1/2 cacao powder

  • 1/4 cup raw unsalted sunflower seeds

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

  • pinch of salt

  

Salted Caramel Tahini Layer

  • 1/2 cup creamy tahini

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

  • pinch of salt

 

Chocolate Drizzle

  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

 

Directions:

  1. Line a 8" x 8" baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Place crust ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. 

  3. Press evenly into the baking pan. Place in the freezer to set.

  4. Meanwhile, add the remaining ingredients to a small saucepan. Heat on low for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

  5. Pour over the crust. Place in the freezer for 3-4 hours to set.

  6. Cut into squares.

  7. Melt the chocolate drizzle ingredients together in a small saucepan over low heat. Drizzle over the bars.

  8. Store in the fridge or freezer.
